Some cool vacation to mexico images:
Little House on the Ecological Park

Here are a bunch of scans of photos I took while in vacation in Mexico at the beginning of May. This was at Xcaret Park, a ecological park right next to our resort.

Xel-Ha is a water theme park in the Riviera Maya area of Mexico. No water slides or anything like that; just a large lagoon where fresh water from a cenote mixes with salt water from the Carribean Sea. It's stocked with a wide assortment of tropical sealife and the bottom is littered with various coral formations.
An all-day pass gets you free use of snorkel gear, innertubes, bicycles for getting around the park, food from 2 or 3 buffet restaurants, and unlimited alcohol from many strategically placed bars. The large, thatched roof on the left is sheltering one of them.
The walkway in the right-center of the photo is one of the entry points into the water. There is a set of stairs at the end that lead directly into the lagoon.
There was a separate attraction at the park where you could swim with the resident dolphins for an added fee.
For a couple of midwesterners out of the States for the first time, this place was magical. Everytime I put my mask into the water my heart rate jumped. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone vacationing on the Yucatan Penisula.
