We started at the Converse airfield where we picked up some stuff that my brother had stored in the hanger while he was living down in Indy. The van is his, and I'm going to be driving it north.
Looking Back from Where We've Come - from the Tram

On Thursday during our Smoky Mountain vacation, Jim and I drove from Sevierville/Pigeon Forge, Tennessee to Gatlinburg. We paid for tickets to ride the tram up to Ober Gatlinburg. We've been to Gatlinburg many times (mostly in December and around Christmastime) but had never ridden the tram. In fact we remembered one year was bitter cold and the tram was not running when we arrived. It was a very pleasant ride to the top of the mountain.
